Non-Verbal Reasoning questions are designed to test a child's spatial awareness and ability to think logically. A typical Non-Verbal Reasoning question will involve the manipulation of shapes or images whereby children will be asked to identify rotations, reflections, complete sequences and much more.
Non-Verbal Reasoning is not covered within the school curriculum therefore children may find this paper challenging to begin with. The key here is to ensure your child practices regularly, learning the correct methods of how to approach each question.

To best replicate the conditions of the 11+ entrance exam, you should encourage your child to complete this paper within timed conditions. Please allow your child no more than 8 minutes to complete this paper.
