NVR Practice Paper 1

KSOL 11+ Practice Papers | Non-Verbal Reasoning Paper 1 - Suitable for the 11+ GL Assessment

Non-Verbal Reasoning questions are designed to test a child's spatial awareness and ability to think logically. A typical Non-Verbal Reasoning question will involve the manipulation of shapes or images whereby children will be asked to identify rotations, reflections, complete sequences and much more. 

Non-Verbal Reasoning is not covered within the school curriculum therefore children may find this paper challenging to begin with. The key here is to ensure your child practices regularly, learning the correct methods of how to approach each question.

This 11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning practice paper consists of various different styles of NVR questions including: Codes, 3x3 Grids and Analogies.

To best replicate the conditions of the 11+ entrance exam, you should encourage your child to complete this paper within timed conditions. Please allow your child no more than 8 minutes to complete this paper.

Verbal Reasoning Practice Paper

KSOL 11+ Practice Papers | Verbal Reasoning - Suitable for the 11+ GL Assessment 

This 11+ GL Verbal Reasoning practice paper contains 20 questions of varying complexity. Verbal Reasoning can test a child's logical deduction skills, vocabulary skills, ability to decipher codes and surprisingly, core Maths skills. 

GL Assessment uses 21 different Verbal Reasoning question types, including others which are continually added, and can incorporate any into the exam. We recommend children familiarise themselves with each of these in advance of the test.

NVR Spatial Reasoning GL Practice Paper

KSOL 11+ Practice Papers | NVR Spatial Reasoning - Suitable for the 11+ GL Assessment

Spatial Reasoning questions are designed to test a child's visualisation skills and their ability to reason and remember the spatial relation amongst objects and shapes. Typical Spatial Reasoning questions involve mirror images, 3D cubes and matching similar shapes.

The key to success with 11+ Spatial Reasoning is to ensure your child practices regularly, learning the correct methods of how to approach each question.

This 11+ Spatial Reasoning practice paper consists of different styles of questions of varying complexity. Each different style has appeared in past 11+ GL Assessment papers.
