The Exam
Townley Grammar School, is situated in the London Borough of Bexley, the school conducts its examination process in a single on-site round. All applicants are invited to sit a GL assessment, comprising of 2 papers consisting of Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Admissions Criteria
The school offers 224 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:
1. Children in public care or children who have previously looked after.
2. Children attracting pupil premium who achieve the qualifying score.
3. Girls identified by the London Borough of Bexley as achieving one of the highest score (top 180) in the selection tests.
4. Girls who will have a sibling attending a school within the 'Odyssey Trust for Education' at the time of application.
5. Children of members of Odyssey Trust staff in either or both of the following: Employed by the school for 2 or more years or member or staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrate skill shortage.
6. Distance from school with priority given to pupils living nearest to the school based on the distance from home to school in a straight line.
