Creative Writing
The Exam
The Tiffin Girls school, is located in the London Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, they conduct the examination process in two exam rounds, held on-site. All applicants invited to sit the 1st exam compromising of multiple choice questions on subjects Maths and English. The top 500 candidates are then called back for the 2nd exam stage which also consists of Maths and English including creative writing.

Admissions Criteria
The school offers 180 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:
1. Currently looked after children and previously looked after.
2. Girls whose primary school receives pupil premium funding.
3. To the girl who lives nearest to the school.
4. Living nearest to the school is measured by the council using a standard method.
5. If more than one girl is on the 180th score and all live the same distance from the school, the place will be allocated by random selection and this process will be independently verified.
