The Exam
Bexley Grammar School, is situated in the London Borough of Bexley, the school conducts its examination process in a single on-site round. All applicants are invited to sit a GL assessment, comprising of 2 papers consisting of Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Admissions Criteria
The school offers 210 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:
1. Looked After Children and Previously Looked After Children.
2. Those children identified as achieving one of the highest 180 standardised scores in the Bexley selection test.
3. Those children with a brother, sister, step/half brother or sister living at the same address currently in Years 7 - 11.
4. With a parent/guardian employed by Beth's Grammar School - must be on a permanent contract at the time.
5. Priority to children of staff where the member of staff has been employed at the school for 2 or more years.
6. Children will be admitted on the basis of proximity to the school measured in a straight line from the home address, with priority given to children living nearest to the school.
