The Exam

Beth's Grammar School, is situated in the London Borough of Bexley, the school conducts its examination process in a single on-site round. All applicants are invited to sit a GL assessment, comprising of 2 papers consisting of Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English, and Mathematics.

Admissions Criteria

The school offers 192 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:

1. Applicants who are or have been child in local authority care.

2. Those boys identified by the local authority as achieving one of the highest 180 score.

3. If a sibling is currently attending Beth's Grammar School.

4. A parent/guardian employed by Beth's Grammar School - must be on a permanent contract at the time.

5. Eligible for pupil premium/free school meals.

6. Proximity to the school from shortest radical distance direct line to the child's home address.
