If you are looking for your child to gain a space at a Gloucester grammar school, you will need to complete a registration form. The registration form can be found on the ‘Admissions’ section on each of the grammar school websites. If you do not complete and return this form before the deadline, your child may not be able sit the exam. As the entrance exam is the same across Gloucester, you only need to complete one registration form, regardless of your school preferences.
The test is set by Granada Learning Assessment (GL Assessment), for September 2024 entry.

This will help when considering which schools to include on your child’s Local Authority School Preference Form. The deadline to complete this form is the 31st October. If you live outside of Gloucestershire, you will need to apply to the local authority where you pay your council tax requesting a Gloucestershire grammar school.
